Artist selection
Pieces offered through a relationship with their maker. When sales open, artist-direct pieces will travel from the maker’s studio. Each listing will identify its maker, where they are based and the dispatch country.
CASA MEANS HOME
Chillum Casa begins with a simple idea: give the art of the chillum the space and attention it deserves.
A curve, a carved detail, a surface that catches the light. Every piece begins with clay, but it carries the hand, place and decisions of its maker. Old forms, individual hands, new pieces.
Our focus is handmade chillums and related clay pieces shaped by independent makers. Some follow established forms; others carve, glaze, experiment or push the object somewhere new. Casa is built for people who want to know more than a price: who made the piece, what it is made from, where it comes from, and what makes it recognisably theirs.
We want artists to describe their work in their own words. Photographs, materials, dimensions, type, place and clear descriptions should help collectors understand a piece before choosing it.
We’re still building our first relationships. Makers are named only with their agreement. Any Casa design studies shown on the site are clearly identified as concepts and are never attributed to an artist.

ONE CASA. TWO WAYS TO COLLECT.
Pieces offered through a relationship with their maker. When sales open, artist-direct pieces will travel from the maker’s studio. Each listing will identify its maker, where they are based and the dispatch country.
Pieces selected and held by Casa. These will be dispatched by us, with their maker, condition and shipping origin described on the listing. We’re preparing this part of the collection.
WHAT WE VALUE
Work with a point of view, presented with room to appreciate its details.
The maker, place, materials, type, dimensions and source should be easy to understand.
Design studies, published pieces and sold works are labelled. Saving a piece does not reserve it.
