What your account saves

Casa registration stores your name, email, a salted password hash, a hashed recovery code and expiring sessions. Passwords and recovery codes are never stored in readable form. Your email is not yet verified by an email delivery service. Casa stores the profile information you choose to enter, saved piece references, artist profiles and drafts, uploaded images, and any preview purchase requests.

How it is used

This information supports your account and artist submissions. Each user’s drafts, uploads and requests are protected by server-side ownership checks. Founders can review artisan applications and submitted pieces. Published piece details and photographs are public. Draft edits remain private until reviewed. This preview does not collect payment card details or take payments.

Signing in and cookies

Casa uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. Sessions expire after seven days. Sign out to close the current session; changing or recovering your password invalidates existing sessions. The current account system uses email and password, with a recovery code instead of email reset delivery.

Your saved pieces and profile are stored with your account, so signing out does not delete them. See the account guide or password and security settings.

Images and submissions

Upload only images you own or have permission to share. Draft images are accessible through your authenticated account; submitted images can also be reviewed by founders. Artist profiles and listing drafts are not published automatically.
